Stacy Gregg

New Zealand writer. She has written the Pony Club Secrets series, a very popular modern series, and the more recent series Pony Club Rivals, which is still in progress.

Stacy is very interested in the ILPH (International League for Protection of Horses and some of the proceeds from the books goes to the charity. One of the main characters in the Pony Club Secrets series works for the ILPH and the author must be commended for raising their profile amongst young readers.

Pony Club Secrets Series:
A very popular series with young readers. A traditional type series but with a slight mystical element running through. The series gets more and more competition/winning orientated as it goes along.

Pony Club Rivals Series:
Haven't read yet, but this sounds like a Chestnut Hill type series. It is set in a USA boarding school which is also an elite riding school where ambitious girls battle for a place against other top young riders from around the world.
